In celebration of their new album “Medicine At Midnight” (out February 5), Foo Fighters will be teaming up with SiriusXM to launch “Foo Fighters Radio.” The limited-engagement station will be available from February 3 to April 4 via channel 105.
“Foo Fighters Radio” will find the band “sharing insight into their new album and the stories behind some of their biggest songs, demos, B-sides, and rarities throughout their more than two-decade career.” It will also feature guest DJs, past live sets from the band, a rebroadcast of “Dave Grohl Presents Sound City,” and more.
A special track-by-track premiere of “Medicine At Midnight” will air on “Foo Fighters Radio” on February 5 at midnight. On the same day, the band will also be playing a virtual “LIVE from the SiriusXM Garage” show at 5 p.m. PT and ET. SiriusXM’s Kat Corbett will host that event and some subscribers will have the opportunity to be in a virtual audience.
Furthermore, Foo Fighters will be taking over three Pandora stations, Today’s Alternative, Today’s Hard Rock, and Foo Fighters radio, starting on February 5 as part of a new listening Mode called “Backstage With Foo Fighters.” That will be curated and hosted by the band.
