Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Chaoseum

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Chaoseum.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

CHAOSEUM: Chaoseum was founded in January 2018 in Switzerland. Our vision was to create a band for live performances! We asked Greg, our amazing drummer, to join us at the early stages of the formation, then followed in February 2019 our very talented singer CK Smile. After the release of our first album and our successful USA tour with Soulfly, our focus was on the release of a new single.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

CHAOSEUM: Our core influence has always been the metal genre. Listen to our first album and you’ll hear Heavy Metal and Metalcore influences led by a distinct female vocal. Our following record sonically relates more to bands like Korn, Slipknot and Trivium.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

CHAOSEUM: We invite your distinguished readership to subscribe, like and share our brand new music video coming out on August 29th on YouTube. We’ve also got our highly anticipated new Album “Second Life” coming out on September 25th. Which for the first time you’ll hear the incredible vocal performance of our Lead Singer CK Smile throughout the record. So if your readers are fans of bands like Korn, Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium they will love our new gem “Second Life”.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

CHAOSEUM: As mentioned earlier, Choseum’s vision is all about Live performances. Live shows are where we excel and where our creative force and energy is set free. From our dramatic visuals to the high intense atmosphere in the crow, fused with our powerful sound, we invite everyone to join us to experience an unforgettable moment.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

CHAOSEUM: In the next five years, we see ourselves growing in popularity internationally and also focusing on what we love doing the most, which is performing live. Being part of many other successful tours with other incredible musicians, playing in several different countries and cities around the globe and carrying out passion for music and creating meaningful connections with amazing people.
