Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Tramston Valley

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Tramston Valley.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

TRAMSTON VALLEY: Hi, we’re Haruki (vocals, guitar and songwriter), Wallaby (bass, backing vocals), and Nogi (drums). We are the Japanese three-piece rock band Tramston Valley, formed in 2018 in Tokyo Japan. We released our first single “First 3” on December 21, 2019 and released our second single “From Inside Of Me (stayhome edit)” on July 25, 2020. We have two music styles including an alternative hard rock style and a sweet acoustic style.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

TRAMSTON VALLEY: My main influences are 90’s-2000’s U.S rock, blues rock, and classic rock. I also like country music. So this band sounds like a mix of that rock music

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

TRAMSTON VALLEY: We recently released our second single “From Inside Of Me (stayhome edit)”. We recorded this song remotely. This mixing is so simple, just four tracks (vocals, guitar, bass, drums), because I wanted to make a strong and old school three-piece rock sound. So you can feel very powerful four sounds.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

TRAMSTON VALLEY: We have a hard rock song, a catchy song and a ballad song. Sometimes we also play an improvisation jam style live. So I think you can enjoy various things.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

TRAMSTON VALLEY: We wanna be playing in many countries. So we wanna make a great album and we wanna go on tour.
