Stone Sour have shared a demo version of “Gone Sovereign.” The final version of that track appeared on the band’s 2012 album “House Of Gold & Bones – Part 1.” Guitarist Josh Rand commented:
“‘Gone Sovereign‘ sets the tone, the ultimate selfish cry of existence. It represents the starting point, but will also come to represent the road behind, the so-called ‘emotional stagnation’ known as The Selfish Side.”
