Pearl Jam’s special listening experience for their new album “Gigaton” ended up getting cancelled last month due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the band have still found a way to bring the immersive audio-visual event to their fans. Tonight at 12AM ET / 9PM PT, the group will be releasing the experience in Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision via Apple TV for seven days, before making it available to rent or buy. “Gigaton” producer Josh Evans commented:
“I’m excited for fans to be able to immerse themselves in the sound and to hear the depth and layers of these songs and performances. It’s truly a unique way to experience this album.”
