Stabbing Westward have cancelled their spring tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, there is some good news as the band have also revealed that they will be using their downtime to finish their new album.

Chris Hall commented:

“Hey everyone. Sorry we haven’t posted in a long time. We were asked not to say anything about the upcoming tour until we had all the dates rescheduled but I’m going to disregard that. I know there are some of you who bought flights and hotels to come see us play and I want to give you as much heads up as possible.

God knows I’ve had a nightmare of a time cancelling flights and hotels with fucking Expedia. but I digress. All the shows in May and June are totally cancelled. We are trying to reschedule the dates and a few have been but I will post confirmed dates once I feel a bit more confident that the lock down is lifted. . But we are also taking this new time to finish the full length album and put together some really exciting news for you.

I hope everyone is staying healthy and strong and not getting too depressed. I’m going to try and come up with something special for you if I can get a few minutes away from the kids. love and miss all our fans. Chris“
