Senses Fail have been working on a new album, titled “What The Thunder Said, Hell Is In Your Head,” and a new covers record. The band tweeted the following about the new album:
The record is called What The Thunder Said, Hell Is In Your Head. It is a concept record split into two stories. One half the record is in minor the other is in major. Half the record is inspired by TS Elliott’s “Wasteland” the other is based on Walt Whitman’s “To Think of Time”

Yeah the first songs starts after priest and the matador. It starts in the relative minor key of the song. Priest is in C Major and the record starts in A minor. The first part of the record follows the 5 parts of The Wasteland. My interpretation of what they mean https://t.co/C6pdhChzgX

It's part of a larger story about this music box that ultimately is cursed and drags people into the Wasteland a.k.a the underworld. Where I meet my grandmother who died before I could say good bye but I meet my future daughter who is represented by a music box within the songs. https://t.co/mXiD5I8TMT

Gonna be DIY. I’m gonna mix it and Gavin and I are doing I remotely. Pretty fun so far. We also have a Morrissey song. Thinking about Jawbreaker, maybe early Get Up Kids. https://t.co/4YbKAqZ7ou
