According to the New Zealand Herald, a Tool fan that attended the band’s February 28 show at Spark Arena in Auckland, NZ has tested positive for coronavirus. Though unclear, there is a possibility that he might have been infectious at the time.

The fan was standing in the general admission area in the front left-hand quadrant of the venue. The risk of getting the virus was reportedly low, but those that were in attendance should keep an eye out for symptoms. The man and his wife, who also tested positive after the couple returned from northern Italy, are currently in self-isolation.
Director-General of Health, Ashley Bloomfield commented:
“We encourage all people in the area of the concert to be aware of the symptoms and contact the Healthline if concerned. The advice is that the risk is very low for all others who attended this concert.
There was no way of tracking the people who were in that area of the concert. They are classed as causal contacts and the advice to them is to call Healthline if they have any symptoms.”
