Apple have officially announced that they are putting an end to iTunes. With this news, the company also confirmed that the content will now be divided into three separate apps, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple TV, which will be integrated into the new macOS Catalina operating system. The back catalogs of those that used the service are expected to stay intact. However, it is still unclear what Apple are planning to do for PC users. You can read more about all this HERE. The decision to kill iTunes isn’t too surprising considering digital downloads have continued to decline as streaming has continued to rise.
