Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With The Aviators

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with The Aviators.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

THE AVIATORS: We are a rock band from Bakersfield, CA. We’ve been around for 10 years gigging up and down California and even venturing into Canada. We’ve opened up for artists like LA Guns, Adema, Tom Keifer (Cinderlla), Jack Russell (Great White), Rudy Scarzo, Fuel, Montrose, The Quireboys, Black Oak Arkansas, Led Zepagain, Bonfire, The Bullet Boys, Tuff, Little Caesar, Pretty Boy Floyd, Tracii Guns, Gilby Clark and members of Foreigner, Whitesnake, Cinderella, Dramarama and Poison. We spend a lot of time gigging and writing music. We have 4 albums and one EP we did at Foo Fighters Studio 606 with producer Matt Starr (drummer of Mr. Big) all available on streaming devices.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

THE AVIATORS: Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Blackberry Smoke, Bad Company, Foreigner, Queen, just to name a few.

METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

THE AVIATORS: The latest release is “Flowers and Moonshine.” This album is all killer and no filler! Its for anyone that wants to hear a great album from beginning to end. We have always been about creating an album of work rather than building around a single.

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

THE AVIATORS: You can expect to hear great musicianship. A real band, playing all their instruments and flowing in the moment.

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band in 5 years?

THE AVIATORS: Touring independently and making a living playing music and entertaining people across the world.
