Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Good Times & Company.

GOOD TIMES & COMPANY: We are an alternative indie rock band based out of Springfield, IL. We have released 3 albums and have just finished tracking our 4th. We strive to write and record honest, unique, memorable music. We wanna come hang out with you.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
GOOD TIMES & COMPANY: The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys, Cage The Elephant, The Kooks, Mac Demarco, The Growlers, Boy Pablo, Phum Viphurit, Royal Blood, Highly Suspect, The 1975, Ceramic Animal, Skeggs, Hockey Dad, Sticky Fingers, The Beatles, Franz Ferdinand, Queens of the Stone Age, The Doors.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
GOOD TIMES & COMPANY: ‘Midwest Sun’ is our latest release, which is a solid rock album reflecting the diligent work of 4 young midwestern guys perfecting their craft. We are very proud of that album. However, we are more excited about our upcoming EP, ‘Cosmonaut’. Anyone reading this needs to follow us on social media and be looking for this thing when it drops because it is going to turn heads. I have never said that in an interview in over a decade of being a musician, but this next EP is going to be very hard to ignore. We are just really pumped to be able to keep putting out quality, unique material. ‘Cosmonaut’ is the best thing we have ever created. You can catch an acoustic version of the title track over on our Facebook!
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
GOOD TIMES & COMPANY: Good Times & Company. It’s in the name! We provide a fun, party atmosphere live show. We play each show like it’s our last and put all our energy into making your night entertaining! Be ready to feel something good.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band in 5 years?
GOOD TIMES & COMPANY: Your city.
