Metal Anarchy’s New Music Showcase: Exclusive Q&A With Worldwide Panic

Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Lane Steele from Worldwide Panic.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:

STEELE: Hey, really thank you for taking time to chat with me today in regards to Worldwide Panic. We are a group of like-minded guys who love what we do and love what we play. We are a Hard Rock band infused with Metal and Industrial overtones. We are an all around very fun band on and off stage. All our members are an interesting bunch and we love to feed off each other’s energy and have a great time.

METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?

STEELE: Life. We are not a band that dwells in fantasy or talks about Dragons or other stuff like that. There is a formula to successful bands in our genre of Active Rock. Korn, Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Three Days Grace, etc. They all talk about pure raw emotion based on life events, which makes them relatable. That’s the kind of band we hope we are.

METAL ANARCHY: What can you say about your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?

STEELE: Our latest release is our single, “Party” This is a really fun high energy song that is super catchy and appeals to fans all across the Rock spectrum. Give it a listen! And crank it up!

METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?

STEELE: You can expect tons of passion, lots of hooks, shredding some jokes in between songs and most of all a once in a lifetime memorable experience. That is one thing about us in WP we are not a passive band. We are in your face and we ensure everyone who comes to see us feels like they are part of the Worldwide Panic Crew!

METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?

STEELE: More Tours, More records and more great musical adventures.
