Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with The Buddz.
METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
THE BUDDZ: We are a 4 piece band on a mission to bring back our favorite elements of old school Rock N Roll!
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
THE BUDDZ: “When I was a kid me and Scott (brother and lead singer) saw the original KISS lineup in concert and it changed our lives. We learned our path that night!”-Matt Smile. KISS would have to be our main influence. They have the full package: The look, the sound, the energy, and the show
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
THE BUDDZ: Our latest release is our full length album “Burn Down”. This album represents everything we are as a band, a spark waiting to ignite! We had the pleasure of working with Dave Fortman and Ted Jensen on this album. They are some of the biggest names in the industry and it feels great being an up and coming band without a major label getting an opportunity like this. With the dream team producing, mixing and mastering, this album sounds huge!
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
THE BUDDZ: You’ll see more than 4 guys playing their instruments. When you see us live, you can expect a high energy rock n roll show. There will be screaming guitar solos, rowdy fans, and massive stage presence. We don’t hold back!
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
THE BUDDZ: We will still be rocking! This is more than a hobby or a job. Rock N Roll is our sustenance. It’s what keeps us going!
