Gibson guitars maker, Gibson Brands, Inc. have revealed that they have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Delaware after gaining $500 million in debt. Part of the problem comes from a decline in sales from their consumer electronics business. They plan to wind down that part of the company, so they can shift their focus back to their guitar-making and audio businesses. You can read more about that at reuters.com.
