Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to up and coming bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with 45 To Argos.
METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
45 TO ARGOS: We are a three piece from Southwest Michigan that loves playing music and giving people a good time. We label ourselves as an alternative rock band, but we sometimes reach outside of the genre to exercise our creativity. We all have a college level music education which we believe helps us be more creative with our songwriting, while also giving us a unique way of looking at and experiencing music in general.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
45 TO ARGOS: Green Day, Halestorm, Led Zeppelin, Avenged Sevenfold
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
45 TO ARGOS: We just released a song called “Dreamcatcher”. It is a song we are really proud to have written. We feel it captures some very deep emotions and conveys them with positive, up beat music. When we play it live, we don’t see many people not bobbing their heads. An official music video for this song will be released on Youtube soon.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
45 TO ARGOS: We deliver a nonstop high energy performance that keeps people enagaged all the way through. We have a fun drum battle, solo sections, and some twists and turns that you would never expect.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
45 TO ARGOS: We hope to be on the road traveling all over the nation playing for music lovers every single night.
