A 22-year-old man named Alin Marin managed to pickpocket 53 phones at Royal Blood‘s November 18 show in Birmingham, UK by stuffing them in a swimsuit that he wore underneath his clothes. The police knew thieves targeted the band’s fans prior to this incident, so they were “mingling with the crowd that night as part of a covert operation” and were able to catch the offender.
