Metallica Take Two Songs Out Of Their Copenhagen, Denmark Setlist After James Hetfield Falls Ill

During their show at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark tonight (February 3), Metallica had to drop “Halo On Fire” and “Sad But True” off the setlist due to James Hetfield falling ill. The vocalist wanted to cut the show even shorter, but he soldiered on and played 16 songs. “It’s not fair to you guys, man,” Hetfield told the crowd. “You paid a lot of good money to come and see your favorite band, and we don’t sound good. I’m gonna leave it up to you, man. Would you rather hear us sound better another time? I wanna stop. What do you say?” The crowd reponded “Yes!” and Hetfield continued: “Okay. You asked for it. All right. I’ll keep doing my best, all right? I appreciate you guys so much, man. Thank you for your support.”
