Awhile ago, Metallica’s legal team sent a cease and desist letter to the Canadian tribute band Sandman due to them having a logo too similar to the band. When Metallica found out what their attorney did, they ended up letting Sandman license their logo for only $1. Now, both bands recently hung out, when Metallica were in Toronto, ON.
