Stone Sour have shared a 2004 demo of “Come What(ever) May.” The song was originally called “Drama Cyst,” and you can hear it below. This demo was released to commemorate the 10th anniversary of “Come What(ever) May.”
Josh Rand said the following about that:
“This was the first version of the song ‘Come What(ever) May‘ titled Drama Cyst record in 2004. I believe it was recorded in Corey‘s grandmothers basement. Jim is not on this Demo cause he was working on Slipknot‘s Vol.3 in L.A at the time.
The song had a drastic make over once Roy played the drum track, which made Corey re-write the lyrics.”
