In a new interview with Metal Hammer, Al Jourgenson talked about Ministry’s final tour and his future plans. During the interview he revealed that the band would probably do one more tour and then he would switch his focus to a new project with Sam D’Ambruoso called Surgical Meth Machine, which Jourgenson is describing as the “fastest music in history.”
Here’s what Jourgenson said about the project:
“We decided to cut out the middle-men. Me and him [D’Ambruoso] are doing this music that’s just eyeball-popping. There’s nothing under 220pbm on there. It’s not for the faint of heart.”
“Mikey’s Middle Finger” is one of the last things Mike did before he died. Imagine a whole album of that – this is what we’re going for now. Straight mayhem. People are probably going to dismiss it as craziness – and that’s good. Craziness develops a future in music. You need the crazy.”
