Last night (February 5), I attended the Papa Roach and Seether concert at the Warfield in San Francisco, CA. All in all, it was a great concert and the tour is a good kick off for 2015.
Papa Roach played a very high energy set, with tons of classics and new songs. Some of the highlights of the night were when the band performed “Last Resort,” “Blood Brothers,” “Scars,” and “Hollywood Whore.” The set list was pretty solid and vocalist, Jacoby Shaddix really kept the crowd going, especially when he sang a song while crowd surfing.
As for Seether, their set was great. They played all the hits like “Remedy,” “Broken,” “Fake It” etc. and rounded out the set with new classics like “Same Damn Life” and “Words As Weapons.” Vocalist, Shaun Morgan didn’t talk to the crowd too much, but his live vocals are awesome and the band’s music definitely speaks for itself.
The opening bands, Kyng and Islander both had cool sets, as well. Some highlights include Kyng’s cover of Van Halen’s “Hot For Teacher,” and Islander’s finale. when they played “Coconut Dracula.” Both bands are worth checking out if you haven’t seen them.
