According to Hollywood Reporter, the film will be “a ‘Dr. Feelgood’ movie that will be an outrageous, larger-than-life depiction of the band’s high (and low) life.” The movie will be directed by Jeff Tremaine (Jackass) and the screenplay was penned by Rich Wilkes and Tom Kapinos.

In other news Vince Neil may have given a little more information about the band’s final performances. He told the Las Vegas Sun that the band plan to wind down the Final Tour at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas followed by the final show in Los Angeles, which he said the following about:

“I hope we can have our final after-party at the Whisky a Go Go on the Sunset Strip where we began 34 years ago, if it hasn’t been torn down by then. It would be a fitting place to celebrate the beginning and the end.”

It is necessary to point out that these shows are not officially confirmed, but the band will be on Fox And Friends, January 20 and on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, January 22, to discuss their final dates.
