GWAR’s new bar, called the GWARbar, has been up and running for a few weeks now. The bar was opened on New Year’s Eve and has had large amounts of fans coming and checking it out ever since.
The GWARbar, which is located at 217 E. Clay St., in Richmond Virginia, originally came about after late frontman Dave Brockie (aka Oderus Urungus) and Johnathan Staples (James River Distillery) came up with the idea. Now, with the help of Travis Croxton of Rappahannock, the dream has become a reality. Patrons can now visit the bar to eat “intergalactic junk food” and drink signature drinks out of GWAR tiki cups.
