Last night (November 10) I attended the Arch Enemy concert at the Regency Ballroom, in San Francisco, and it was a great show.
Starkill kicked off the night, but I arrived late so I didn’t see their whole set. From what I saw, they seemed like a solid act, that would be worth seeing on future dates of the tour.
After Starkill finished, Huntress took the stage for an explosive set. They played a variety of songs from “Spell Eater” and “Starbound Beast,” along with one new song. Their performance was top notch, even better than their performance at Mayhem, last year.
After Huntress, Kreator took the stage. They had an intense set, with classic songs like “Phobia” and newer songs like “Phantom Antichrist.” They really commanded the stage and put on a great performance. Defiantly go to one of their shows, if you haven’t seen them.
Lastly, Arch Enemy took the stage for an awesome set. New vocalist, Alissa White-Gluz (ex-The Agonist) was a great edition to band and put on a sick show. The band played songs spanning their whole catalogue, including new songs like “War Eternal,” and old songs like “Ravenous.” The highlight of the night was their encore when they rocked “Nemesis.” If you get a chance to go to a future date, I would highly recommend it. \m/
