Gaerea have shared four versions of their new song “Shallow.” This includes the original take, an acoustic version featuring Jo Quail, a piano version featuring Juan L. Otaiza, and a remix from Paranormal Attack. Gaerea said the following about the single:

“‘Shallow‘ was written on the edge where depression and clarity briefly meet in an endless dance. It is a song about hoping for a brighter day while sinking deeper into the dark sheets of self-loathing. One of the most experimental tracks Gaerea have ever created, it gave rise to extensive vocal and orchestral experimentation and serves as a reflection of what Gaerea has become throughout ten years of relentless creativity, touring, and complete commitment to our true selves.”
