On August 30, CJ Ramone (ex-Ramones), Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Travis Barker (Blink-182), and Tim Armstrong (Rancid) celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Ramones’ self-titled album during a special show at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA. The supergroup, who performed under the name Cretin Family, were also joined by several guests including Billy Idol, The Linda Lindas, and Fred Armisen. You can see fan-filmed from the set below. The event was hosted by John Travolta, who was on hand for screenings of “Propeller One-Way Night Coach” and a 50th anniversary deluxe edition of “Carrie.” DJ Shepard Fairey also took part.
