Uriah Heep guitarist Mick Box will now be missing the remaining dates on the band’s Scandinavian tour due to illness. During his absence, Sam Wood (Black Star Riders) will continue to fill in.

The band commented:

“Hi Everyone. We just want to update you all on Mick’s progress. He is on the mend but doctors have advised that he continue to rest and recuperate.

For the remains of the Scandinavian run we will continue with Sam Wood on guitar, whom I think all will agree that have seen the shows in Finland, does Mick and the rest of us very proud every night.
