Acres have teamed up with The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers for a new version of “Push Me Away.” You can check that out below. The updated take on the track is from “the complete and continued version” of “The Host,” which will be released on September 26. The group commented:
“‘Push Me Away‘ is almost like a confession of self-doubt, a reflection on feeling like you’re the weight holding someone back, and believing they’d be better off without you. When we wrote this in the studio, we instantly knew this was the song we wanted to have a feature on and we honestly couldn’t think of anyone better than Landon. We’re so grateful he wanted to be part of this!”
