Caspian have issued a statement regarding a fake EP that recently surfaced on their streaming accounts. The band said the following about the situation:
“Hi all – we are aware of the fake accounts posting music under our name on digital streaming platforms and are working to have them taken down as fast as possible. This seems to be an increasing issue amongst artists in the digital age and one of the many blind spots inherent to these platforms. If and when we release new music, which we are actively working on, you’ll be the first to know and there will be no confusion. in the meantime. Please don’t stream or listen to these accounts. Thanks. And hope all are well. A general update from our camp will be going up soon-ish. (The Real) Caspian“
