Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have a Q&A with Victor Sierra.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
VICTOR SIERRA: Hi Metal Anarchy readers. It started between two centuries with Anouk (The Legendary Princess) and I (Commander Bob) coming from quite different backgrounds. We decided to join forces and form Victor Sierra. We have had other people in the band along the road but as we are very demanding they all left one after another and we finally decided to go on the two of us. This is not quite true, because we have a nice half alive skeleton on stage, in charge of the computers stand behind us. The now famous Piløt X-Ray.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
VICTOR SIERRA: Victor Sierra is influenced by many things from different horizons. Not necessarily musical : spy stories, retro-futurism, cinema, ephemeral painting, politics, computer science, literature, history, industrial poetry…
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
VICTOR SIERRA: We have released an EP: ‘Let me be your Ghost’ and we’re quite proud of this accomplishment. We see it as a milestone in our career. We hadn’t made an EP since our first (Secret Page) in 2010. It’s full of jolly nightmares stories and gothic melodies driven by Victor Sierra’s heavy rhythm machine section, which is our trademark. I hope your readers will like it.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
VICTOR SIERRA: Victor Sierra want to lead the audience into a vaporous and multicolored universe through unexplored paths down to a future that could have been… The Legendary Princess, Commander Bob and (Pilot) X-Ray invite you to go beyond the horizon line, to be stirred in unison and to live unpredictable experiences. Yes. At least we try!
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
VICTOR SIERRA: We’ll have released more music and toured all around the planet. With Deadfall Management’s help perhaps even more! Thanks for the interview. See you soon guys.
