During a recent meet and greet, Halsey spoke with a fan about her past work as a hardcore promoter. The pop star said the following about that:
“I super fuck with hardcore. I used to promote hardcore shows in Jersey before I started making music. I did a lot of hardcore, but then also some of the more commercial hardcore. The biggest show I ever booked, I was 16, was like August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada.”
She went on to say that she also used a quote from Defeater in her high school year book.
