The Gathering’s “Mandylion” lineup, vocalist Anneke Van Giersbergen, bassist Hugo Prinsen Geerligs, keyboardist Frank Boeijen, drummer Hans Rutten, guitarist René Rutten, and guitarist Jelmer Wiersma, will be reuniting to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album during two special shows next year. The concerts will take place at Doornroosje in Nijmegen, Netherlands on August 29 and August 30. The group said the following about their plans:
“After so many years, we are very excited to celebrate this anniversary together, an album that still means so much to us.”
