During a recent interview with Billboard, Alex Van Halen explained why he chose not to take part in Sammy Hagar’s Van Halen tribute tour with Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani, and Jason Bonham. He said the following:
“I’m not interested. They’re not doing the band justice. They can do what they want to do. That’s not my business.”
