Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have a Q&A with Otherworldly Entity.
METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
OTHERWORLDLY ENTITY: Otherworldly Entity formed in 2018 as a hard rock, alt rock, numetal band. With the addition of Shawn Washer on drums in 2022, the band has gotten heavier and darker with recent releases.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
OTHERWORLDLY ENTITY: Cold, Deftones, anything really dark and emotional.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
OTHERWORLDLY ENTITY: Our new album “Inside-Out” is a studio acoustic album where we re-address some of our favorite songs from our past albums, as well as some brand new ones.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
OTHERWORLDLY ENTITY: Dynamics, both visually and audibly. Humans go through such a wide range of emotions, and we want to bring them all out.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band in 5 years?
OTHERWORLDLY ENTITY: Touring and writing, that’s always our focus. I don’t see that changing.
