Sammy Hagar is set to receive the key to the Las Vegas Strip on October 4. The ceremony will take place at Cabo Wabo Cantina in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
Hagar is being honored for his economic and charitable impact on Clark County, NV. The ceremony will double as a celebration for the cantina’s 15th anniversary and the frontman’s 77th birthday. Hagar commented:

Cabo Wabo Cantina was created as a place where I could hang out and bring my friends and it has remained the ultimate spot on the Strip for rock ‘n’ roll, killer margaritas and great Mexican food. My experiences here have been some of the most special moments of my life and I couldn’t be more thankful.”
Tickets for the event cost $55 and fans who purchase them will receive two cocktails made with Hagar’s liquor. They will also get 20% off food.
