The late Steve Albini is set to be honored by having a street named after him in Chicago, IL. Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa passed an ordinance to declare the 2600-2700 block of West Belmont Avenue in Avondale, between North Rockwell Avenue and North California Avenue as “Steve Albini Way.” Notably, that stretch of land includes the legendary producer’s recording studio Electrical Audio.
