Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to artists that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have a Q&A with Chuck Ransom of The Chuck Norris Experiment.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
RANSOM: The Chuck Norris Experiment is a heavy action rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden. We have been around for 20 long years, and we got 11 studio albums under our belt, plus numerous singles, live albums, and collections.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
RANSOM: We listen a lot to Scandinavian bands like Turbonegro and Gluecifer, but our main influence is classic 80’s hard rock.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
RANSOM: Our new album “20” is just released on beautiful vinyl, and of course on all streaming platforms out there. You should check it out because I think it is a bloody great album. It sums our 20 years together really well.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
RANSOM: They can expect a horse kick in the face. We always deliver 100 percent, it can be 5000 people in the audience or 5, it does not matter, if you have taken time off your busy life to be there, you will get the royal chuck treatment.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
RANSOM: In five years I think we have released a couple of new albums, and hopefully we are on a 25-year anniversary tour in America. Let’s go!
