Steve Albini has sadly passed away at the age of 61. His death was reportedly the result of a heart attack. Albini was a legendary producer, who worked on albums from Nirvana, Pixies, Bush, and more. He was also a musician himself having performed in Big Black, Shellac, etc. Albini was an advocate for paying artists their fair shares and he even refused to take royalties from recordings he produced.
