Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy recently celebrated Alex Van Halen’s induction into the Modern Drummer Hall Of Fame by performing Van Halen songs on the Van Halen drummer’s actual kit. You can see footage of that, along with an interview below. Portnoy commented:
