According to Metal Hammer, Sleep Token’s “Take Me Back To Eden” was the most streamed metal album on Spotify last year. The effort gained 357,324,681 streams from 3,131,019 monthly listeners. This is above Metallica’s “72 Seasons,” which had 227,202,107 streams. Despite this, Metallica, who have 24,708,038 monthly listeners, still beat Sleep Token in physical sales. “72 Seasons” moved 146,000 units in the U.S., while “Take Me Back To Eden” moved 16,000 units.
