Green Day To Play Small Stage Concert For SiriusXM in New York City

Green Day will be playing a special show at Irving Plaza in New York, NY on January 18 as part of SiriusXM’s “Small Stage Series.” The band plan to perform songs from their new album “Saviors” (out January 19) and more.

This news coincides with the launch of Green Day Radio (ch. 107) on SiriusXM. Fans listening to the station through the SiriusXM app will be able to enter for a chance to win tickets for the concert from December 27 through January 8.

Green Day Radio was created to celebrate the release of “Saviors” as well as the 30th anniversary of “Dookie” and the 20th anniversary of “American Idiot.” It will include exclusive stories, music from artists that inspired them, an exclusive performance, and more. The concert will also air on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM channel, Howard 101. Scott Greenstein, president and chief content officer at SiriusXM, commented:

Green Day Radio will be available from December 27 through January 23.
