Last night (December 1), the surviving members of Power Trip’s classic lineup, guitarist Blake Ibanez, guitarist Nick Stewart, bassist Chris Whetzel, and drummer Chris Ulsh, played a surprise show at Mohawk in Austin, TX. The five-track set saw Ibanez’s Fugitive bandmate Seth Gilmore filling in for the group’s late vocalist Riley Gale. You can see fan-filmed footage of that below. The Power Trip reunion was billed as a “very special guest” and it followed a Fugitive “headlining” set. The following songs were performed: “Soul Sacrifice,” “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe),” “Hornet’s Nest,” “Manifest Decimation,” and “Crucifixation.”
