Suffocation have been performing with vocalist Bridget Lynch (Stabbing) as of late. She is currently filling in for Ricky Myers, who is dealing with a bout of illness. Lynch had the following to say about the opportunity:
“I’ve been doing guest vocals on ‘Liege Of Inveracity,’ and Terrance and Charlie pulled me aside maybe 15-20 min before their set yesterday to ask me if I could do the set, minus some songs. I was like, ‘Holy shit, are y’all fucking for real right now?’ The place was packed and a lot of people came out for Suffocation, so it would be a bummer if they had to drop—the show must go on—so I said fuck it and did it. It was an honor and a dream come true, but I was also so nervous my legs were shaking. I just went on stage after they introduced me thinking, hey, I’ll do my best! Hopefully I did them proud.”
