According to Mirror, convicted pedophile Ian Watkins (ex-Lostprophets) was recently stabbed in prison. The disgraced singer was taken hostage and assaulted by fellow inmates at a British prison while serving a 29-year sentence for 13 counts of child sex offences. He was said to have been in “life-threatening condition” and that “there are fears he could die.” A Prison Service spokesperson issued the following statement:
“Police are investigating an incident which took place on Saturday at HMP Wakefield. We are unable to comment further while the police investigate.”
