Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Dhaliax.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
DHALIAX: Dhaliax was created by Enyd (lead guitar) and Marc (rhythm guitar) in 2015, while they were playing together. Different band members joined and went. Then there was Kuido, who stayed as vocalist. It would not be until 2019 when joined by Alex and Xavi, on drums and bass respectively, that the band would finally be complete and able to undertake the challenge of their our studio album called “Blood on Fire” which was recorded at PlyGrnd Studio, Barcelona.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
DHALIAX: We have tons of different influences in our band, We’re talking different styles we like. For example Xavi, our bass player, has always liked Michael Jackson besides all of the modern metal bands and artists. Kuido, our singer, always loved the real heavy metal “oldies”, like Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven and Hell (he loves Dio), Judas Priest and Scorpions, as well as Iron Maiden. Marc, rhythm guitar, started listening to Hard Rock and bands like AC/DC, before he began listening to all kinds of metal bands. From classic heavy metal like Kuido, or thrash metal bands like Megadeth, Slayer, Pantera, Trivium… including death metal bands like Arch Enemy or In Flames.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
DHALIAX: Last December, we released our first studio album called “Blood on Fire” which was recorded at PlyGrnd Studio, Barcelona. If you’re fan of classic heavy metal, power or thrash metal we’re pretty sure that you’ll like our album. It’s a composition which will be enjoyed by any fan of heavy metal, with a sharp and powerful voice that could suit any power metal band and powerful riffs that will remind you of any thrash metal band. We can assure that if you give it a chance and listen to it carefully you’ll be adding “Blood on Fire” to your favs.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
DHALIAX: Our fans will always find a dose of electrifying energy at our shows. Our main goal is to connect with them as much as possible, knowing or not the songs. We can assure they will sing, scream, jump and they will go home thinking about going to another one of our shows.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
DHALIAX: Recording and presenting our third or…fourth album? Our main goal is to keep working hard. We have much to show and lots of songs to compose. We’ll keep doing what we love and we hope to be playing at the best national and international festivals.
