Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Hearts & Hand Grenades.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
HEARTS & HAND GRENADES: Hearts & Hand Grenades formed in early 2019 hailing from the Buffalo NY area. We are a four-piece band that brings some heavy and loud rock music with a strong female front. We have all collectively played in many cover bands over the years and decided it was time for something more. We intend on bringing our obsession for hot guitar riffs and heart pumping energy with us to every show.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
HEARTS & HAND GRENADES: We are all individually influenced a little differently, but I would say Metallica, Halestorm, Flyleaf, Avatar, Gemini Syndrome. My personal favorite is Muse.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
HEARTS & HAND GRENADES: Our latest release is our third EP coming out in May, titled “Adrenaline”. It offers a fresh mix of heavy rock, some inspiring lyrics, and a whole lot of energy. The lyrical content is very deep giving each of the songs a story of their own.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
HEARTS & HAND GRENADES: We approach every show with high energy and put everything we have into it. We want our fans to have just as much fun as we do, and we set out to dominate stages of all size. Crowd engagement is our forte. We get the fans involved in the show as much as we can and always try to make it something they will never forget.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
HEARTS & HAND GRENADES: In five years we hope to be on tour with multiple albums under our belts and a lot of miles behind us. We are excited for our newest release and plan on being around for a long time. Touring the world in five years would be the ultimate endgame. It is our live show that really captivates people and reels them right in. I would hope that in that time we could build a very large global fanbase and play as many shows as we possibly can for the fans.
