Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Six To Fix.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
SIX TO FIX: We are an indie rock band with some electronic sounds. There’s a combination of classic melodies with modern sounds. We started in 2011 and our sound has been evolving through the years. Our latest single ‘When The Night Is Over’ was produced by Julian Emery (Nothing But Thieves) and mixed by Adam Noble (Biffy Clyro, U2, Placebo) and we are recording our third album ‘Imagination’ right now.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
SIX TO FIX: We like a lot of bands with different styles. There are some classic bands, like U2, The Killers, Radiohead or Muse, but we like modern bands that combine styles, like The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, Portugal The Man, or even One Republic.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
SIX TO FIX: Our latest single ‘When The Night Is Over’ has been chosen as a finalist song in the International Songwriting Competition, out of 18,000 contestants. It’s an optimistic song with a powerful anthemic chorus.
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
SIX TO FIX: People enjoy our shows, we have energetic songs that make you vibe, sing and jump, alongside some beautiful ballads. Our singer interacts with the audience to make them get into the songs.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
SIX TO FIX: We hope we can get a bigger audience all over the world and we’d like to tour some countries and festivals. What every musician wants, make a living with music.
