Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Until I Wake.
METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
UNTIL I WAKE: Until I Wake is a four piece metalcore band built with some of the most talented musicians and performers from Buffalo, NY. Bringing an explosive and energetic live performance, we plan to convey a strong message through our story telling lyrics.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
UNTIL I WAKE: Until I Wake has a broad spectrum of influences. Some main influences would be Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, and Underoath. Other bands that influence us are Asking Alexandria, Lamb Of God, Slipknot, and Oh, Sleeper. We all listen to so many artists within the same realm as us and outside as well!
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
UNTIL I WAKE: Our latest release is our debut music video “Sinking Under”. The video is an exciting, engaging display of our first release that fits the lyrical meaning behind the track!
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
UNTIL I WAKE: Coming out to future live shows, our fans can expect an energetic live performance that they will never forget as well as a positive message to be spread through our music and attitudes.
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
UNTIL I WAKE: In five years, Until I Wake expects to be performing world tours with some other well known artists. We’ll be releasing plenty of new music under a label and we will be continuing to put out consistent content for our friends and fans to enjoy and hopefully plenty of content to engage with!
