Eddie Van Halen has reportedly been battling throat cancer and David Lee Roth has since told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the guitarist is “not doing well.” The singer made the comment while discussing his decision to relaunch his solo career:
“Ed’s not doing well, and singing and dancing is a perishable skill. If you have the capacity, it’s something that has to be used routinely, if not for the thrill of it and the magic of creating with other incandescent spirits.”
