Time for the next edition of Metal Anarchy’s “new music showcase,” the feature where I introduce you to bands that readers of this site may find interesting. This time I have an exclusive Q&A with Pushing Veronica.

METAL ANARCHY: Tell me a little about your band:
PUSHING VERONICA: Pushing Veronica is a ballpit rock band from Los Angeles, California. The ballpit is our name for our community of fans. Even though it might be filled with germs and whatever else that’s lurking in the depths, a ballpit is a fun place to get lost and enjoy the present.
METAL ANARCHY: Who are your main influences?
PUSHING VERONICA: We are influenced by Twenty One Pilots, PUP, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, My Chemical Romance and Green Day.
METAL ANARCHY: What is your latest release and why should readers of this site check it out?
PUSHING VERONICA: Our latest release is the music video for our single “Bullshit.” Our very own vocalist and guitarist Julien Silvas wears a baby costume and adds to the LSD fueled madness of the video. There’s so much more crazy shit but you’ll have to watch to find out!
METAL ANARCHY: What can people expect when they go to your live shows?
PUSHING VERONICA: People can expect to be indoctrinated into the ballpit with open arms. We love every pitter and make sure every show is a crazy spontaneous experience. If you come you’ll have a good fuckin time we promise!
METAL ANARCHY: Where do you see your band heading in 5 years?
PUSHING VERONICA: Mars.
